Bunyip was created from stories told by my elders. They would say “we have to get to the riverbank before dark”. The rings would start to appear on the top of the water. That’s when you know he was present. All this in a day’s fishing. My grandmother would sit and fish all day and say, “time to go” as the sun was going down but would be the last to leave and say, “1 more fish”.
